Wordless Wednesday: Mom's in the Picture

Hello, and *shhhhh..* Welcome to Wordless Wednesday!

Today, we take a look at one Mom - me!

I'm not usually fond of being in front of the camera, but there are exceptions - exceptions that most often involve my children...

And now, let's get Wordless!

Wordless Wednesday: Learning, Naturally!

Find More Wordless Here!

Hi there!

It's Wednesday again, and that means it's time to get Wordless.   This week, I'm sharing a bit of what learning looks like in a home where the children live free of school, subjects and assigned lessons. Think that means that learning is limited?

Acually, it's more like the opposite, as this tiny sampling shows.  Learning here is a big. sprawling. spontaneous, deep, delightful, big-as-life-itself buffet!  Predictable? Not usually.  Tidy? Ummmm...not so much.  Filled with wonder, beauty,  engagement, and lots of grins and laughter?

OH YES!

Wordless Wednesday: Water, Water, Everywhere!

Hello, and welcome to Wordless Wednesday!

It's been an eventful week here.  In addition to my completing two pretty major writing challenges, my husband surprised the kids by bringing home the trampoline they've been wanting for years (note: setting up a trampoline is not exactly a simple matter!).

And then, as if on cue, it started to rain....and rain...and...

Well, you get the idea.

Someone here is miffed by the weather that's impeding her long-awaited bounce time.  But,as a family, we try to look on the bright side of things, so, this Wednesday, I'm looking at water differently...

Wordless Wednesday: Out for a Stroll!

Hi there, and welcome to Wordless Wednesday!

The weather is warming up at last in our little bit of upstate New York, and we're walking more again.  Seems like a good time to revisit some past strolls.  From our own rural road, to the streets of Lake George Village, to Lock 2 of the Erie Canal,  to the Herkimer Diamond Mines, there's always something to see and do and delight in - turtles, carriage horses, the way sunlight shines through new leaves...

Won't you come along with us? =)

Wordless Wednesday: Seasons in the Sky

Welcome to Wordless Wednesday, where I share images and (mostly), keep my words to myself.  Since this spring's weather has been more chaotic than it is most years, I thought I would share winter, spring, and summer skies, from various years and locations.

Do you love to watch the seasons in the sky?  What's your favorite part of spring?
